The person they asked us to vote for is really nice. They are friendly, do a lot of volunteer work and seem to really care about helping people. But, at the same time....some of the things they support seem to go against my personal beliefs.
What makes it harder, is their main competition is a real "dick!" Every time he opens his mouth it seems he is offending someone. And some of the things he says are pretty far out there...... But, I do agree with much of what he promotes, even though I don't always agree with the way he addresses the subject.
Basically it comes down to this, do I vote to support a really nice person, that won't promote the values I hold dear.... or do I vote for the complete dick, ........
Here is a little secret you might need to hear.....you do not have to like everyone on your team. You do not have to like a person at all to vote for them. Elections are to steer the nation, not to fulfill your need to have a friend. Elections are not to promote the GOOD guy.... If you support the GOP platform (you know the one built on morals, ethics, common sense and understanding that chicks don't have dicks) then it should not matter if a candidate offends you as a person..... what should matter is they will work to build the nation you want to live in!
